The Albanian language begins teaching in the 'Frang Bardhi' school in Crete

The class teaching Albanian language and supplementary education "Frang Bardhi", Heraklion, Crete, Greece, started the new school year 2021-2022.

For the second year in a row, teachers Jerida Kulla and Klarita Selmani, opened the Albanian language and supplementary class "Frang Bardhi", in Heraklion, Crete.

It is the second year of online learning. Despite the difficulties and the lack of physical class, these teachers did not withdraw, but started the new school year 2021-2022, with more responsibility and more desire, for the sole purpose: for the children living in Greece, to have the opportunity to express themselves and feel Albanian.

We reminc that these teachers are the 2 teachers who opened the Albanian language class for the first time in 2017, in Heraklion. Their efforts and work continue, as the passion for teaching is great, overcoming obstacles with the force of love for the Albanian language and homeland.

Present on this day were their parents, students, siblings.

On the first day there was a brief overview of how the lesson will take place, what books will be used, different topics that will be addressed. Since the lesson will take place online, contemporary methods have been selected so that children can happily attend the lesson and learn by having fun, learning, and getting to know the customs and traditions of the Albanian people.

Textbooks were made possible by the Diaspora Publishing Center (DBC).
