Kurti asks Japan for a presence with investments in Kosovo

 The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the Ambassador of Japan in Austria, Mizutani Akira, who is accredited as a non-resident ambassador of Japan in Kosovo.

Emphasizing the importance of expanding bilateral relations, Prime Minister Kurti stressed that they want to have a greater presence of Japanese investors in Kosovo in the field of infrastructure, renewable energy, and railway technology.

"In this context, Kosovo is interested in participating in OSAKA EXPO 2025," he said.

Ambassador Mizutani handed Prime Minister Kurti a letter from the new Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, in response to the congratulatory letter that Prime Minister Kurti had sent to him on the occasion of taking office.

He expressed Japan's readiness to further cooperate in areas of mutual interest, according to a press release from the Office of the Prime Minister.
