Sami Musa is the first MP of Albanian origin in Hamburg, Germany. He became part of the parliament after winning the trust of the citizens in the 2020 elections. Many Albanians trusted the vote of their compatriot. Sami Musa has previously told "Albanian Diaspora" that his experience in Hamburg institutions dates back much earlier, as he from 2014 to 2019 served as a councilor in the Municipality.
While today Musa has announced that he is now officially part of the German Democrats.
"Officially in the liberal family. Looking forward to future cooperation. Many thanks to the President of the FDP Hamburg, Michael Kruse, for the trust given. For the freedom and the right to opportunity - a strong central policy," Musa wrote on his Facebook page.
