The Australian artist organization "Voxalis" has included the Albanian soprano in an important music project.

We are very excited to introduce you to the soprano of Albanian origin, Anna Tafani, who will be one of the artists of the "Songs of Love" project. She is currently studying for a Master in Performance program at Griffith University Conservatory of Queensland. Tafani has performed in several productions including Dido and Aeneas, La Finta Giardiniera and Béatrice et Bénédict," Voxalis wrote in a statement.

Anna Tafani of Albanian origin is a soprano who lives in Brisbane, Australia

In 2021, Anna was a recipient of the Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship for Overseas Studies and a Young Artist with the Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program. She has explored a variety of repertoire, from Baroque music to the ‘bel canto’ aria, along with her vocal educator and President of the Australian National Association of Singing Teachers, Shelli Hulcombe.

Anna has performed regularly outside the walls of the Conservatory, including with the Brisbane Concert Orchestra, the Amadeus Orchestra.

"Albanian Spirit: songs from my homeland" was her last recital concert she held in Brisbane accompanied on piano by Shanna Goh and Simon Redshaw on clarinet.

"Voxalis" is an emerging art organization dedicated to presenting outstanding performances of art songs and operas to the Australian audience.

With a bold vision to revitalize these art forms and to place them as important contemporary genres, in 2022 he will present five dynamic recitals, with the extraordinary voices of well-known and future Australian classical singers in iconic settings of Brisbane.
