The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapic, has officially requested the dismissal of the Deputy Prime Minister, Dritan Abazovic.
"I submitted to the Montenegrin Parliament the initiative for the dismissal of Dritan Abazovic and proposed the Minister of Finance, Milojko Spajic, as the new Deputy Prime Minister," Krivokapic said on Twitter.
At the request of the head of the Montenegrin government, Parliament will convene in an extraordinary session on February 3rd.

The demand for the dismissal of the ruling coalition ally comes at a time when Abazovic has launched proceedings to launch a no-confidence motion against the government.
Apart from the URA Movement and another party as part of the majority, all opposition parties, including the political force of the president, Milo Djukanovic, have joined part of this initiative.
Montenegro's parliament is made up of 81 deputies, and the ruling majority, along with Abazovic's votes, managed to form a fragile majority.
