"They come from Eastern European countries. "They spend some time in Spain traveling to different parts of the country and then returning home until next summer."

This is how La Razon starts the article about the Albanian gangs that rob the houses of rich people in Spain. And their last victim is Karim Benzema, about a week ago.

On January 24, the news on the headline of Spain papers was that  Real Madrid striker had his house stolen while he was playing against Elches at the Bernabeu. And the Spanish police have strong suspicions that its perpetrators are a gang of Albanians "famous" for robbing the homes of the rich.

Authorities have provided details that the incident happened between 15: 00-19: 00 last Sunday, at the moment when the French striker was playing with his team against Elches.

According to police sources, despite the alarm, by the time the owners arrived home, the robbers had left. They had entered through the garden of the house, which is located in the residential area of San Sebastian de Los Reyes, and entered through the pool.

Police have managed to find traces of blood in the pool, which is thought to belong to one of the robbers. Benzema has not yet made a denunciation of the stolen items.

This, according to sources, is because large amounts of cash may have been stolen and in this case does not benefit them to be the object of investigation by the fiscal authorities.

This is the second time Benzema's house in Madrid has been robbed. It happened for the first time in February 2019, again during a match at the "Bernabeu". It is not yet known if it is the same gang. But even then it was about a gang of 4 or 5 Albanians and a Spaniard.
