Bank robbery plan in Tirana through underground sewage canal

Police agents controling underground canal entrance for traces of robbery 

A second-tier bank in Tirana had been targeted by a group of robbers.

Euronews Albania says that the group of robbers, still unidentified, had planned to enter the bank through the underground sewage canal on Zogu i Parë Boulevard.

The entrance to the underground canals to the bank is about 200 meters away.

Yesterday, numerous police forces carried out controls on the canal on Zogu i Parë Boulevard, but it is not known whether any material was found that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators.

We recall that in recent years several banks in Albania have been robbed, and this could be the next.
