Tirana has joined various cities around the world, which have taken to the streets against the war.
Many citizens protested in front of the Russian embassy in Tirana, opposing the war that Russia has declared against Ukraine. With placards in their hands and Ukrainian flags, they called for peace.
Some of the banners held by citizens were "Putin as Hitler!" and "We want peace, not war!", "Freedom to Ukraine".
