15 thousand Albanians have been deported from the Schengen area in the last 2 years. An expulsion has been imposed on them (ban on entry into Schengen for several years).
The Netherlands, France, and Belgium are the 3 main countries that impose more expulsions on Albanians. The number of law offices that deal with their issue has been increased in Tirana.
"Spain has recently started to be added to this list. "Germany is definitely a country where Albanians have problems with illegal stay or stay where the 90-day deadline is exceeded and they are obviously penalized by this fact," said lawyer Franci Nuri.
Asylum and endangering public safety are other reasons that are penalizing Albanians.
"Asylum is refused, in 90% of cases we are saying and people are not aware that they receive an expulsion after leaving. "They think that the procedures are over, that they are OK and can return and move freely in Europe, but automatically they are penalized without knowing this," Nuri explained.
The lawyer said that the expulsion varies depending on the state and depending on the reason. To delete the expulsion from the system or to remove it prematurely, the fees vary from 200 to 500 euros.
