 The well-known singer of Albanian origin, Dua Lipa, participated in the opening ceremony of the first Albanian school in Texas.

Dua, as an Albanian child raised far from her country of origin, told, among other things, details from her childhood and the challenges of learning the Albanian language.

"When I was informed about the opening of this school, I remembered my childhood and the time when I came from Prishtina to London."

Dua recalled the time when he was growing up in school he had to speak English, but at home, they always spoke Albanian.

"When I was in London I spoke English with friends and professors, while at night with my parents I spoke Albanian so as not to forget my roots and language," said the music star amid emotions.
