German medium: Kosovo is one of the possible places from where planes can be sent to Ukraine.

The United States has rejected Poland's offer to send some Soviet-era MIG-29 aircraft to Ukraine through a US military base in Germany, writes, Tagesschau reports.

Pentagon said that such a proposal has raised "serious concerns" for the whole of NATO.

Tagessachau, also wrote about this issue, showing that the direct transfer of planes to Ukraine is apparently not planned by the US while emphasizing that one of the possible scenarios is for the planes to be repainted at the base of Ramstein in Germany and then fly to a non-NATO or non-EU country.

Ukrainian pilots from that country can then send planes to Ukraine.

As "Tagesachau" writes, Kosovo has been mentioned as one of the possible options, although no country has been mentioned yet publicly.

As the German media writes, it is debatable whether the use of MiG-29 by Ukraine can initiate a military turnaround, as their number is manageable and they are technically inferior to the most sophisticated Russian aircraft.
