 A 36-year-old Albanian man sentenced to 15 years in prison for fraud has been arrested in Sweden for the purpose of extradition to Albania.

The police inform that the citizen Bledar Heroku, 36 years old, was declared internationally wanted after the Tirana Judicial District Court, in 2015, sentenced him to 15 years in prison, for the criminal offense "Fraud", committed in collaboration.

In 2013, in Tirana, the citizen Bledar Heroku, in cooperation with other persons, through fraud, received the amount of 136,000 euros, from the citizen L. V.

Among other things, it is reported that as a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Stockholm / Sweden, it was possible to extradite him to our country.

"Cooperation with counterparts continues, for the localization, capture, and extradition of persons declared internationally wanted.

Thanks to the cooperation with the Swedish counterparts, a citizen declared internationally wanted for fraud has been extradited from Stockholm to our country.

Following the work on locating, catching, and extraditing persons declared internationally wanted, by Interpol Tirana specialists, in cooperation with Interpol Stockholm / Sweden, it became possible to arrest in Sweden and extradite to our country, an Albanian citizen:

Bledar Haroku, 36 years old.
