We have always wanted to see a generation of young Albanian-Americans running for public office and representing the areas in which our community lives.
Vedat brings with him the beautiful story of the son of an immigrant who grows up to become a leader and fulfills his version of the American dream.

His story matters especially to our community. Like him, many of us migrated here from Kosovo, and from other Albanian lands where we left behind oppression and hardship. In this place, we found a second house. We found freedom and democracy. This inspired us to work hard and become good American citizens and patriots. Also inspired us to come back and help the country we left behind. Vedat has done it all. After graduating from college, he returned to help Kosovo's legal reform and build the institutions of a new democracy.
In the United States, he built his legal business and ran it for two terms.
