Chinese Influence in Albania: Bankers Petroleum supports Chinese language activity

 The Chinese language competition "Bankers Cup" has attracted many participants in Tirana. In the activity supported by Bankers Petroleum, has been praised the spread of Chinese culture and knowledge in Albania.

Dozens of students from the capital's schools took part in the Chinese language competition, the Bankers Cup, Euronews Albania reports.

The event was organized by the Confucius Institute in cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China on the International Chinese Language Day.

Seeing the high participation of students, the Ambassador of China in Tirana, Zhou Ding said that the future of cooperation between the two countries is optimistic.

"This competition has become a well-known brand of cultural exchanges between China and Albania. "I hope the contestants continue to learn Chinese with perseverance and happiness and become ambassadors of friendship between China," said Zhou Ding.

The event was supported by Bankers Petroleum Albania, the largest oil production company in Albania, which has been owned by Chinese investors for 6 years.

Also present at the competition was the CEO of Bankers Petroleum, Qing Fang. He said that the company is very happy that it is helping to spread Chinese knowledge and culture in Albania.

The book The Road to Virtue, a copy of which we are donating today, was written thousands of years ago and is one of the most translated in the world along with the Bible. We are very happy to be here and to support such initiatives," he said.

The three participating groups of primary, secondary, and university schools won prizes in the "Chinese Bridging Bridge" competition.
