A short time ago, a video was circulated on the Internet showing a young violinist posing in front of the largest building in Toronto, Canada, called the Canadian Tower (CN Tower), with an attractive melody. The name below his feet was also attractive: Kristian Gusho, with whom we had a conversation for the newspaper "Diaspora Shqiptare" about his profession, passions, and life in Canada.
Kristian Gusho is a young violinist and producer, and one of the youngest residents of Canada, who came from Albania seven months ago. The special thing about Kristian is that he started his activity as soon as he arrived in this country.
We learn that he started his education as a musician at the age of 5 in the Art School "Naim Frashëri" in the city of Vlora. "It was Flora Caci, my first teacher, who put my hands on the violin!" He says. He continued his education at the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja" in Tirana, where studies in violin took a professional form, devoting himself and seriously dedicated to the end of high school where he won a full scholarship to study at the conservatory of well-known Greek "Hellenic Conservatory" in Athens. "The defense of the diploma in front of a jury of different nationalities at the Greek Conservatory gave me the opportunity of a Gold Medal, which was last awarded to Leonidas Kavakos, the world-famous Greek violinist!"

In the interest of the newspaper "Diaspora Shqiptare" about whether he could present himself to the Canadian public in Toronto at this time, He answers: "I am happy that God wanted me to enter Canada just before the borders were closed due to of COVID-19! The situation has not been much in my favor as far as music is concerned, as many previously planned events have been canceled.
Asked how much he was able to connect in this short time with the Albanian community in Canada, he suddenly answers: “I have had the opportunity to meet many Albanians this time, and also the offers have not been few, but we look forward to for the world to return to normalcy and for Albanians to gather again to celebrate and for us to be a part of their joys!
In Toronto, I managed to make only one appearance at the Albanian celebration for Women's Day and Teacher's Day on March 8 in an organization by RH Scholarship with its director Teuta Haxhillari! It was a very nice experience and the Albanian public of Toronto welcomed me very well. The special thing about this evening was that I performed there together with my wife, who is also a singer, Eriola "- Kristian confesses.
Christian is in the process of integrating into Canada. He says: “I did not find this part very difficult as I am used to life outside Albania! My job before coming to Canada was on "Cruise Ship" in which I performed for vacationers around the world! I can say that Canada has not been as big a challenge as I have heard, but just a little work with myself for a more natural adaptation! I look forward to many beautiful things in my life and career here in Canada! ”
