Prime Minister Albin Kurti has called on the government and Austrian companies to join Kosovo in the construction of the Prizren-Durrës railway.

"Early Karl Gega received the title of doctor of mathematical sciences, he was a well-known engineer. He was given the title of knight by the Kingdom of Austria and is buried next to the most eminent persons of Austria, such as Mozart. The construction of railway lines in Austria is the result of Karl Gega. He has lived in Austria, so we know you have to have great expertise to build big projects. I invite the Austrian government and companies to join us in infrastructure projects involving railways. We want to build the Prizren-Durrës railway and we need technical expertise like that of Karl Gega and why not even name the railway line Karl Gega”.
Kurti, among other things, told the Austrians that Kosovo is the best place to do business.
"Anyone who does not know how to invest in Kosovo, here you will have a clear picture of doing business. According to international reports, Kosovo is one of the best places to do business and the only country in the Western Balkans that has increased its points in democratic development," said the Prime Minister.
Further, Kurti spoke about the economic growth in Kosovo, on which occasion he mentioned the creation of 25 thousand new jobs.

We have created over 25 thousand new jobs, economic development so far according to the statistical agency of Kosovo, is 10.53 percent. By last year, the value of exports had reached 2.7 billion, up 80 percent. The value of goods has risen to 62 percent. Exports have increased to 104 percent. With the new government, the commitment to the rule of law, transparency, and effectiveness, we are not only implementing democratic principles, but we are also breaking records one by one," said Kurti.
