The old and giant pine had a length of 40 meters, a diameter 2 meters, and perimeter of 6 meters. It was located inside the National Park.

Elton Daka, Specialist of the Administration of Protected Areas says that the Big Pine has been one of the most visited attractions by many local and foreign tourists.
"It was the big pine, the oldest pine in the park, one of the attractions for many visitors who wanted to visit it, although with a distance of 2 km from the main road, still, the story and its age, attracted a lot of visitors every day," Daka said.
Although a study does not exist, the specialist indicates the age of the pine.
"The data we have until now say that is about 400-410 years old, but there is no real study," said the specialist.
Pine has withstood some human intervention. In 1997, it was damaged by dynamite placement but resisted falling thanks to strong roots.
