Citizens who started the protest against the price increase in "Skëndërbej" square, have already arrived at the square in front of the Prime Ministry building.

A small number of citizens are present at the protest, some of whom hold some banners in their hands and call on as many people as possible to join them.

The protest was called by several civil society organizations, whose slogan is 'The rice cannot hold water anymore.

This is the first protest since March, when several consecutive protests took place against the rise in prices, mainly of oil and some food products.

To help the citizens, the government approved the social resistance package and set up the Transparency Board, but according to them, this did not work, so a protest is being organized again.

We emphasize that Albanians have the lowest salaries in Europe and Albanian politicians are the most corrupt according to many reports and studies.
