 The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, will pay a visit on Friday, June 17, to the Special Court in The Hague, where he will meet with former KLA leaders in the Special Court.

The news was published by the Chief of Cabinet of the Speaker of the Assembly, Ilir Kërçeli.

"Together with Speaker Konjufca on June 17, we travel to visit former KLA leaders in The Hague," Kërçeli wrote on Facebook.

Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi, all former members of the General Staff of the former Kosovo Liberation Army, who are charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity, are in custody in The Hague, before November 2020.

Salih Mustafa and Pjetër Shala, former members of the KLA accused of the same crimes, are also in custody, as well as Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj, former leaders of the KLA War Veterans Organization, already convicted by the first instance court for attempts to obstruct the work of the Special Court, through the publication of confidential and sensitive materials of the Special Court..
