Albanian and Ukrainian children celebrated on June 4, 2022, in Zagreb together the holiday of June 1. On this occasion, a concert of young Albanian and Ukrainian musicians was held in the hall of the Music School "Elly Bašić". In addition to the musicians, the students who learn Albanian in the eight-year schools of the city of Zagreb prefecture also participated: Shkodrani, Melita, Florandi, Lorenda, Marta, Eltrina, with recitations and songs dedicated to June 1, while the little girl Lara Shabani performed online the song "My beautiful More".
The concert was attended by the head of the Sector for Education at the Municipality of Zagreb Martina Glasnović, representatives of the Albanian embassies in Zagreb, the Ukrainian and Albanian community of Zagreb, Croats, representatives of Albanian and Ukrainian associations, media, parents and children.
Albanian musicians Erina, Dardani, Adea, Nola amazed the audience who played the flute, piano, guitar, and violin, while Ukrainian musicians played the harp and violin and performed the Ukrainian folk song Podoljanka.

The program was prepared by: Professor Xhevdet Sahatxhija, teachers Melita Orešković and Pranvera Shabani, and Emil Bobrak.
The concert was organized by the Theater Association in Croatia "The Emigrant", the Ukrainian Association of Zagreb, and the Council of Albanian Teachers of Croatia with the support of the Council for National Minorities of the Republic of Croatia.
The children of Zagreb celebrated International Day with an artistic program, demanding an end to the war in Ukraine, an end to violence against children, happy life, and a beautiful world full of love.
