 The NATO Assault Force mission in Latvia has posted on social networks photos of the latest military exercise involving hundreds of soldiers.

Part of this mission were also dozens of Albanian soldiers who simulated an exercise where light weapons were used.

After the last summit in Madrid, the NATO military alliance has committed to increasing the military presence on the eastern borders, due to the increase in tensions with Russia.

In an interview about 3 months ago, Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi emphasized that Albania has sent military equipment to Ukraine, as well as positioned its troops in Latvia.
