In prison, Roland Hasani ended his life by hanging himself in Durrës prison.
The 44-year-old was in serious psychological conditions at the time he committed the serious act, while there was another prisoner in his cell, who was asleep, local media say.
Hasan had been suffering from mental health problems for some time.
Immediately after the incident was ascertained, Hasani was urgently escorted to the Durrës hospital with faint signs of life. The doctors put him in the operating room, but the deceased could not make it.
