The National Agency of the Information Society in Albania said that it has been forced to temporarily close access to public online services and other government websites because is facing a synchronized and sophisticated cybercriminal attack from outside Albania.
In order to withstand these unprecedented and dangerous strikes, we have been forced to shut down government systems until the enemy attacks are neutralized.
"We invite citizens, the media, businesses, and all other actors to raise awareness in order to break this attack on Albanian national interests and to understand the temporary state of non-access to public services, says the official statement.
