 Shala river and Koman lake are the destinations that are returning to be among the most preferred by foreign tourists.

Prime Minister Edi Rama published today on social networks the video of two Canadian bloggers Steve and Ivana, who together with their American friend have decided to explore these pearls of Albanian nature through kayaking, sharing it with the followers of their vlog this unique experience.

"These scenes that I am living are a fairy tale. This is really the Thailand of Europe", says the Canadian blogger, who also appreciates the food of the area.


The Prime Minister informed that 76 thousand American visitors have come to Albania in these seven months, 50% more than a year ago.

Likewise, Rama writes that "there is a significant increase in tourists from Canada, where 13 thousand visitors came compared to 5 thousand in the same period of the last years".

According to official statistics, 38,915 French tourists visited Albania from January to July, twice as many as last year when there were 19,184.

Over 100,000 German tourists were registered for this period, compared to 52,000 in the same period last year; 18,820 Spanish tourists, against 4,228 visitors in the same period last year; 90 thousand visitors from Great Britain visited Albania in these seven months.
