| Cannabis package sequestred by Albanian police |
Two people were arrested by the police as part of the coded operation "Green mail 2".
David Shehu and Mariglen Vata, both 18, were handcuffed by the blue uniforms after ordering cannabis sent by post from the UK.
Their arrest was made in the place called "Reth Rrotullimi" in Plepa Durrës, while they were traveling towards Tirana, local media report.
The investigation showed that two packages with narcotics from Great Britain arrived by post (Koli Post) in Tirana and then went to the post office branch in district no. 13 in Durrës.
The orderer of the drugs was Mariglen Vata, who sent David Shehu to retrieve the packages of drugs. The investigations were conducted under the direction of the prosecutor Bledar Valikaj.
