A hearth of fire has been activated this Sunday in Pyramid 17 (the Albanian standard for locating the border with Greece) in the city of Kolonja, on the border between Albania and Greece.
The fire is of large size because in that area, there is a forest mixed with firs and oaks, and at the same time the flames are being favored by the wind.
So far, the fire is in the Greek area and is being extinguished by helicopters from the neighboring country.
Meanwhile, the Albanian fire brigade has been sent to be on standby in case the flames cross over to our side, this is what Albanian authorities said.
