| The new ABC-book cover to be used in Albania and Kosovo |
The new school season will find schools in Albania and Kosovo this year with a unified primary school. Kosovar media RTK has published for the first time the cover of the ABC-book that will be distributed this year in all schools in our country and in Kosovo.
The ABC-book published by the publishing house "Dukagjini" is already ready, it has been printed and is expected to be in the hands of the little ones who will start the first grade this year. The publishing house informs RTK that the distribution of the primer has started in the schools of Kosovo in some rural areas, while the distribution is also expected in the schools of the cities this weekend.
According to Report Tv, on September 1, a ceremony will be held in Kosovo to publish the new primer. The Minister of Education, Evis Kushi will be present with her counterpart Arbërie Nagavci to present this primer on the first day of school.
The distribution of the primer in Kosovo started earlier because the school season starts on September 1, unlike in our country, which starts the school season on September 12. The Deputy Minister of Education in Kosovo, Dukagjin Pupovci, said that the primer was worked on faster so that it would be ready for students in Kosovo.
"We have been careful, because the calendar for the beginning of the school year is not the same in Kosovo and Albania, and we have requested that the work be completed earlier, so that ABC-book will be ready for September 1, when school officially begins in Kosovo.", said Pupovci for Radio Kosova.
