5 months after the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict and 1 year after the increase in the price of flour, the Albanian government has decided to support local wheat production.
All farmers, who plant an area larger than 1 hectare with wheat, will benefit 30 thousand leks per hectare.
Applicants must present a document that proves the ownership of the land, the deed of taking ownership of it, or the lease contract, be equipped with a certificate, and have invoices for the purchase of chemical fertilizers.
The fishing sector will also benefit from the subsidy. This industry will receive the support of 40 leks for each liter of fuel used in the July-December period of this year.
Even beekeeping will benefit from 1,000 lek for each beehive if the farm has more than 50 of them.
