The first ship with wheat from Ukraine since the beginning of the war is expected to arrive in the port of Durrës, Albania.

Loaded in Izmail, Ukraine, the ship left on July 28 and is expected to arrive in the morning of August 10 at the Port of Durrës, Albanian media report.

It is about the ship "Jaohar Ranim" that is sailing towards the port of Durrës with a quantity of 6,000 tons of wheat arrived on behalf of a flour company in Tirana.

Currently, the ship "Jaohar Ranim" is in the Greek waters of the Ionian Sea and is expected to arrive in the early hours of Wednesday in Durrës.

Meanwhile, a ship loaded with urea, that serves the agricultural sector, in Russia is sailing towards Durrës, which was expected to arrive at the port on Tuesday evening, while it started sailing from the Russian port of Novorossiysk.

Russia and Ukraine together account for nearly a third of global wheat exports, so the resumption of wheat exports from Ukraine has given a breather to global consumption needs.
