The Prime Minister of Albania can engage foreign advisers, paying them 1 million ALL per month.
But at today's government meeting, an addition was approved to decision no. 187, dated 8.3.2017, of the Council of Ministers, which determines the payments for external advisers and external assistants of the Prime Minister, as Monitor reports.
According to this addendum "Exceptionally, the Prime Minister has the right to engage foreign nationals, internationally recognized experts/consultants as external advisers, with a payment of no more than 1,000,000 (one million) leks per month, for a period of engagement no more than the duration of his mandate."
