The police of Tirana has hit a prostitution ring, organized by a Colombian citizen. Meanwhile, 6 other foreign nationals were arrested, who had come to Albania to work as prostitutes.

Also, 4 citizens who had rented their apartments to foreign citizens are being prosecuted, although the legal reason of why these citizens who rented their hoses were arrested has not been made public by the authorities, as normally anyone can rent out the house, and tenants can practice prostitution secretly.
It is learned that the woman from Colombia had rented four houses in different areas of Tirana where she housed the girls and found clients through online advertisements.
The coded police operation "Contact" is finalized for the attack on a prostitution network.
The operation was carried out by the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section at the Tirana DVP, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court.
