Security expert Bashkim Selmani stated that cyber attacks in Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia are interconnected.

In an interview for "Euronews Albania", Selmani said that these attacks are happening in territories inhabited by Albanians.

According to him, diplomatic language towards countries like Iran or Russia should be softened.

"I see it as an attack on the Albanian geographical position, in all Albanian lands and not by chance there are 3 connections, the Iranian attacks in Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia. The geography of the action is the Albanian spaces and they are connected with each other. We must be very vigilant in the political and diplomatic aspects as well. When we express ourselves, let's not be hostile toward these superpowers because they can bring us a lot of harm.

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced Saturday morning that Iranian hackers have attacked the TIMS system. Previously, Iran carried out a cyber attack on our country on July 15.

On Saturday, the official website of the Ministry of Education and Science in North Macedonia faced a cyber attack.

Meanwhile, the information infrastructure of the government of Kosovo fell victim to a cyber attack a few days ago.
