NASA confirms that Lake Ohrid and Lake PRespa are among the oldest in Europe

 The National Administration of Aeronautics and Space, NASA, has shared on social networks, a photo from space of Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa, which it considers to be among the oldest lakes in Europe.

"Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa, two of the oldest lakes in Europe, are located in a mountainous area along the borders of North Macedonia and Albania, while Lake Prespa includes also Greece.

Ohrid is the largest and deepest of the two, with an average depth of 155 meters. Prespa has an average depth of 14 meters," writes NASA.
