NATO has condemned Iran's cyber attack on Albania. Through a statement, the North Atlantic Alliance states that the Allies support Albania in strengthening its cyber defense capabilities to withstand and repel such malicious cyber activities in the future.

"We stand in solidarity with Albania after the latest cyber attack on its national information infrastructure. The Allies accept the statements of Albania and other Allies that attribute responsibility for the cyber attack to the Government of Iran. We strongly condemn such malicious cyber activities designed to destabilize and harm the security of an ally and disrupt the daily lives of citizens. NATO and allies support Albania in strengthening its cyber defense capabilities to cope with and repel such malicious cyber activities in the future," said the statement of the North Atlantic Alliance.

Through a post on Twitter, the head of the alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, says that NATO is committed to continuing to increase security to prevent and protect against cyber threats.

"I strongly condemn the latest cyber attack on Albania, which Tirana and other allies attribute to Iran. NATO and Allied experts are providing support. NATO is committed to continuing to increase security to deter and defend against cyber threats," Stoltenberg said.

A day ago, the USA and Britain came to the side of Albania for the decision taken to expel the diplomats of the Islamic Republic that was found responsible for the mid-July cyber attack in our country.

The Iranian embassy was emptied today after the ultimatum given the day before by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who gave 24 hours for the diplomatic staff of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to leave Albania within 24 hours.

Rama stated that this decision of the Council of Ministers comes after it was discovered that the Islamic Republic of Iran is behind the July 15 cyber attack.
