New street named after Mother Teresa in New York |
New York Senator Marty Golden in collaboration with the activist and head of "Albanian Roots"
Marko Kepi have announced that they are working on naming a street after "Mother Teresa" in Brooklyn, NY. The street that is expected to be called "Mother Teresa" will be where the saint's statue was placed 6 years ago.
"Six years ago, my office in coordination with Marko Kepi and the Albanian Roots Community Organization proudly unveiled the statues of Saint Teresa (Mother Teresa). I am proud to support the co-naming of Mother Teresa Street in the coming months. Congratulations to the Albanian-American community for honoring our great saint" Senator Golden wrote on social networks.
