Albania has won a gold medal in wrestling for the first time.
Zelimkhan Abakarov, who represented our country, was declared world champion in the 57 kg category.
The World Cup took place in Belgrade.

Abakarov is a wrestler of Chechen origin.

"Zelimkan Abakarov, fantastic wrestler with Albanian citizenship, is declared world champion and to the sound of our national anthem raises the red and black flag in Belgrade," Rama wrote.
In the semi-finals, Zelimkhan Abarakov defeated Serbian Andria Micic.
