The League of Albanian Women in Greece (Uniona Αλβανιδων Γυναικόν στην Ελλάδα) has launched a two-week campaign for Blood Donation, within the concrete support of Pink October, the month of raising women's awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

The campaign starts today, October 10, and will continue until October 23.

"A symbolic month like this should be made more meaningful with real help, not just sensitization messages. Our association, through its Blood Bank, has helped 14 Albanian immigrant women so far," said the Albanian Diaspora, Mrs. Mirjana Hasalla, president of the League of Albanian Women in Greece (Uniona Αλβανιδων Γυναικόν στην Ελλάδα), inviting all Albanian immigrants residing in Greece, who wish to join this humanitarian initiative.
