The 30th Albanian Festival is dedicated to Monsignor Zef Oroshi in New York

 The "Our Lady of Shkodra" Catholic Church has announced the organization of the 30th Albanian Festival, which will be held on November 5 and 6 in the Hall of the Illyria Community Center. This Festival is dedicated to the high figure of the exile, the late Monsignor, Dr. Professor Zef Oroshi, the founder of the Albanian Catholic League and the First Catholic Church in all of America but also around the world outside of Albanian territory. This festival, which is organized by the Catholic Church "Our Lady of Shkodra" is 30 years in a row the largest Albanian event in America. His aim is to continue to maintain and preserve the Albanian language, tradition, and culture.

During the festive night, the participants will have the opportunity to have fun with well-known singers from many countries, and folk groups from New York, Boston, and Michigan who enrich the Festival with different instruments, costumes, and dances from Rrugova and Highland, Laberia and Chameria. The festival is organized with the support of the chairman of the Diaspora Coordinating Council Mark Gjonaj, a former member of the New York City Council. Starting this week, tickets are on sale.
