'33.5 kg of cocaine seized in Durrës is little, there is more'

 The Albanian criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço stated that the amount of 33.5 kg of cocaine seized in a container at the Port of Durrës a few days ago did not convince the international partners.

The drugs were found in a container loaded with bananas, which had come from Ecuador, on behalf of a company in Tirana.

In the "Review" show on Euronews Albania, Karamuço announced that there are currently other controls at the port.

"33 kilograms did not convince our international partners. Currently, as we speak, there are still controls at the Port of Durrës. There is information on more and other containers are being checked.

If we had proactive investigations by our law enforcement bodies, they would be extended in time, the scheme would be found. Today we are not one step ahead of organized crime, but five steps ahead", he emphasized.
