A 56-year-old man from Turkey has been criminally prosecuted after being caught with 17 thousand undeclared euros at the border point with Greece in Kapshtica.
The police informs that during the urgent control of the Turkish citizen S. A., 56 years old, resident of Adapazar, they found 17,000 undeclared euros in his handbag and sweatshirt.
"Further procedural actions were carried out by specialists for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crime, of the Korçë Local Police Directorate, who referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border". The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Korçë, for further investigations", the police informs.
