Albanians with banners protesting in England |
Albanian immigrants in the United Kingdom have "invaded" the streets of England with calls for the removal of Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
The latter declared that southern England was facing an "invasion" of immigrants while accusing the Albanians there of "abusing their laws".
This statement received an immediate reaction from the Albanian government. Prime Minister Edi Rama declared for "Sky News" that he is still waiting for an apology from the British government.
Albanian citizens used Albanian music in the background, while their banners read that they are not criminals and that they work and pay taxes.
Children were also seen among the protesters holding placards of the type "Suella, am I a criminal?" or "Cute Invasion".

Rama has accused Great Britain after Braverman's statement, that it is using Albanians as "scapegoats" to justify its "failed policies" on borders and migration.
