Mohamed Alabbar, the head of Eagle Hills, the company that will build the new tourist port of Durrës, has responded to critics regarding this investment, through an exclusive interview to Euronews Albania.

Alababr said that he followed the debate that took place in the parliament about the project and emphasized that funny and untrue things were said there.

He underlined that through technology, anyone can search for information about him and his activities.

"It is not necessary to talk about the things that I did not like, however, there are some ridiculous things, some untrue claims, some untrue statements. However, I as a guy don't respond to these things that are wrong. I believe that today, with technology, you can learn who Mohamed Alabbar is, nothing is hidden," he emphasized.

After a marathon session that continued until the early hours of Thursday morning, the Parliament of Albania approved with 76 in favor and 35 against, the draft law for the Port of Durrës, thus paving the way for its transformation into an urban center with a yacht port.
