Alexia Traiko, the 19-year-old Albanian wins Next Top Model in Greece

 A young woman of Albanian origin has been chosen as the best model in Greece.

On Friday evening, the final of GNTM5 took place and Alexia Traiko emerged as the winner of the great fashion competition.

The 19-year-old model from Thessaloniki, originally from Albania, made an impression from the first moment she entered the reality show, managing to win the title of Greece's Next Top Model.


The new model also won the important prize of 50,000 euros, a one-year contract with Dust and Cream, a two-year scholarship to study any specialty she wants at IEK, jewelry worth 20,000 euros from the Georg Jensen company, and a Citroen Ami car, Greek media say.

Who is Alexia Traiko?

Alexia Traiko is from Albania, but grew up in Thessaloniki, where she lives.

Although 19 years old, the young woman has managed to have three years of professional experience in the field of fashion, having booked many important jobs, from photo shoots to catwalks.

Despite her passion for modeling, as she has said, she also likes dancing, which she has been doing since a very young age.

Her motto is "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and the young winner of the TV modeling competition always wants to strive for the best possible result in her life.

"I started modeling quite an by accident. When I'm in front of the camera, I feel strong, I feel different, I feel like I'm not the classic Alexia and I'm taking on a different form," the GNTM winner said.
