Azgan Haklaj in Euronews Albania studio |
Azgan Haklaj, the former deputy of the Democratic Party of Albania, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that figures who have problems with justice go after the former president and former minister of Albania, Sali Berisha because they see him as a hope.
"Special Anti-Corruption Structure (Albanian: Struktura e Posaçme Anti-Korrupsion, known with the acronym SPAK) will deliver the results and the impenetrability will end. If you see at the pulpit, all those persons who have problems with the law are with Berisha. Those who have problems with justice from political figures go after Sali Berisha because they see him as hope", said Haklaj.
He underlined that the USA will never back down from the accusations against the leader of the Democratic Party.
UK and US have banned Albanian ex-president Sali Berisha from entering in respective countries due to huge corruption declaring him "persona non grata"..
