A senior official of the Traffic Police has been arrested on charges of abuse of office and taking bribes.
It is about document administration specialist and OASH member, Alkid Ndreu, who is believed to have handed over the suspended driver's license to a citizen, after having received a sum of money from her.
According to the Police Supervision Agency, for this case corruption has been arrested also E.C. for exercising illegal influence, as well as the citizen B.D. whose license was blocked for a committed violation, local media reports.
Citizen B.D. managed to get the license, which was blocked by the commission for a period of 3 months, against an amount of 70,000 ALL given as a bribe to the arrested persons.
