The Albanians have shown their heart team in the world football championship. Asked by Barometer in Euronews Albania, Brazil turned out to be the most favorite team among Albanians with 27.6%.
Another very favorite team for Albanians is Germany with 24.3%, while it is followed by Italy with 14%, Argentina with 10.7% and the Netherlands with 5.5%.
The teams with the least Albanian fans are Portugal with 4.2%, France with 4%, Spain with 3.9% and England with 2.2%. While 3.5% of them support other national teams.
Brazil is the most preferred national team by the 25-34 age group with 44.4% and the least liked by the 55-64 age group with 19.1%. Germany is most liked by the 65-75 age group with 34.3% and least liked by the 25-34 age group with 19.5%.
Italy is most preferred by the 55-65 age group with 26.3% and least preferred by the 18-24 age group with 6.6%. Argentina is most preferred by the 45-54 age group with 18.6% and least preferred by 25-34 year olds with 5.1%.
Spain is most preferred by the 18-24 age group and least preferred by the 45-54 age group with 1.8%. Portugal is the team of the heart for young Albanians, as it is most preferred by the 18-24 age group with 10.7% and not at all preferred by the 44-65 age group with 0%.
France is also a team that is preferred more by young Albanians, where for the 18-24 age group it is the team of the heart with 7.3%, while the age group that has the least favorite is 35-44 years old with 1.2%.
On the other hand, the Netherlands is most preferred by the 55-64 age group with 8.6% and least preferred by the 18-24 age group with 2.6%.
40.5% of Albanians indicated that the reason why they became fans of a team is a certain player. For 32.2% of them, the reason is the family, and for 12.3%, society influenced the selection of the heart's anvil. The biggest have less influence with 4.8%, competition with friends at 2.5%, a team from this country at 2.2%, and only 0.2% was influenced by emigration.
