Albanian-born referee Rauf Soulio has been honored with the prestigious Member of the Order of Australia medal by the Football Federation as part of the 2023 Australia Day Honors recognitions.
"Former President of Football South Australia (2006 – 2016) and Vice-Chairman of the Asian Football Confederation's Entry Control Body (judicial body), Judge Rauf Soulio AM, is recognized for his significant service in multicultural matters, in the judiciary and in the Community.
"We are delighted for Rauf Soulion who has held important leadership and governance roles over many years to drive positive change for our sport and their Member of the Order of Australia honors are well deserved," the Federation said in a statement.
