| Oriel Skura, the 8-year-old was hit to death by the car |
A tragic accident took the life of the 8-year-old of Albanian origin, Oriel Skura, on Christmas day after he and his family had gone to celebrate with some relatives. After lunch, around 3:00 p.m., everyone left the house and while they were greeting each other on the side of the road, the minor crashed to death.
He had gotten into his father's car but got out again after his cousin called him. It was their last meeting after the Peugeot car hit the 8-year-old at speed, taking his life. The child was urgently sent to the hospital as he was accompanied by desperate screams of his parents. The parents narrated the incident saying that the light of their lives was extinguished.

"Oriel didn't play football in the street, he was on the side of the road with us and our relatives. How is it possible that the driver failed to brake at 3 o'clock in the afternoon when we are not supposed to go more than 50 km/h? Extinguished the light of our lives forever. Oriel was the sun of our home and family, he had a positive energy with everyone, and he hugged everyone who treated him with kindness and love. He liked to party, dance, and enjoy every moment of his life", were the words of the parents about the little boy who lived in Noicattaro. Oriel left behind his 5-year-old younger sister, parents, and grandparents, Italian media reports.
The parents added that they go to the cemetery every day, where they always find people visiting.
