Prime Minister Edi Rama took part in the international competition for the "Auto Moto Park Albania" project, which will be built in the city of Elbasan. The five best design studios for such structures, creators of the most well-known Formula 1 tracks, have expressed interest in this Albanian investment.
Rama said that the presentations were good, but the company owned by Alexander Wurz, a famous former Austrian Formula 1 driver, and his father, Franz Wurz, won the competition to build it. Franz Wurz is famous for his efforts to improve road safety.
A variety of activities, including races held in accordance with International Automobile Federation standards, will take place on the more than three-kilometer track.
