Belind Klliçi, the opposition candidate for the municipality of Tirana in the May 14 local elections, met with US congressman John Moolenar.
Klliçi announced in a social media status that the meeting discussed corruption, political current affairs in Albania, and the significance of the country's upcoming local elections.
"Today I had a very positive conversation with Michigan Congressman John Moolenar about the upcoming local elections in Albania and their significance for the country's future. We also talked about how we both felt about Albania's political situation and corruption.
